We bred Pine Acre's Powder Keg MH CC (an FC AFC River Oaks Way-Da-Go Rocky bitch) to NFC AFC Storm's Riptide Star. Powder is an AKC titled Master Hunter and qualified at the Labrador Retriever Club's first Conformation Certificate (CC) event. Powder qualified for and ran the 1999 Master National at just three years old. She is an intelligent, tractable, great marker, possesses a great working attitude and is a pleasure to train. She is a house dog and personal gun dog and her intensity has to be seen to be appreciated. She is 100% Amateur trained, weighs 67 pounds, is OFA Good and has annually CERFed Normal, with no known health problems.

AKC Registration: SM929642/01 CKC Reg: 1058733 Birth Date: 08/01/91 OFA: LR-52223G24M - Good LR-EL4160 - Normal CERF: LR-8223 Rascal is the 1996 National Open Retriever Champion, a 1998 National Open Finalist and his son Chip Windstorm was a 1997 Canadian National Open Finalist. Rascal is about 77-79 pounds, dark chocolate, and has excellent conformation. He is noted for his high trainability, athletic ability, enormous water entry, desire for birds and retrieving , excellent marking , long powerful lines on blinds, and friendly personality. When at home, he is a house dog that sleeps on the sofa. Rascal's pedigree is solid black for five generations. The only chocolate in the first five generations is a Swedish conformation champion in the fifth generation. In his pedigree are found some of the most well known competitive dogs in the field trial world. His pups have many achievements that include many being Qualified All Age, Master Hunters, search and rescue dogs, service dogs for the handicapped, obedience titled, and being trained for drug detection. Powder is chocolate factored, Rascal is chocolate, and we were blessed with ten healthy puppies--six chocolate and four black. The black puppies are chocolate factored. All pups CERFed normal on 4/5/00, dewclaws have been removed, were given a clean bill of health by our vet, will be introduced to birds, are well socialized, and come with a written health warranty. Contact us for more information or to make a reservation. Puppies are sold on a first come first served basis, but preferences are given to working homes. The breeding took place December 21, and whelping occurred February 24. Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes around April 20, 2000. These are working dogs bred to produce working puppies. Shipping: While we prefer that you pick your puppy up at our house, we will ship pups to you. Puppies are shipped either from South Bend, IN or O'Hare International, Chicago, IL. Additional charges apply to shipped puppies, i.e. airline fee, crate fee, health certificate, and an airport drop off fee.
